Description

jEncrypt is an easy to use command line application designed to help you encrypt files and folders into a single file archive. It runs on Mac OS X, Linux and Windows, or any other platform that supports Java 7.

Main features:

  • AES-CTR mode encryption with configurable key sizes (128, 192 or 256).
  • Preservation of file permissions on Mac OS X, Linux and other Unix OS's.
  • Fast and easy to use.
  • No file size limits.
  • 100% free of adware or malware, including but not limited to: spyware, viruses, trojans and backdoors.

Commandline options

jencrypt-e, --enc [ File or folder to encrypt ] [ Destination file ]
-d, --dec [ File to decrypt ] [ Destination folder ]
-p, --pwd [ Password to use for en-/decryption ]
